OHL Sign up Info
Sign ups are open!
Summer 10 - 4/25/2010 - 8/29/2010 Off 5/30, 7/4, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25 and 8/1 for Ice maintenance.
The cost is $285 for skaters, and $165 for goalies if you sign on or before April 18th 2010. On April 19th the rate goes up to $310 and $180 respectively.
Our league plays Sunday nights at the Space City Ice Station in the NASA Clear Lake area. We have 12 or 13 skaters per team and play a 13 game season. The number of those 13 weeks that are playoffs depends on how many teams there are. Every team will have a chance to win the Stonely Cup. You can learn more about our league here
The OHL is a Novice league that promotes fair play and strives to create even teams. Because of our format players sign up individually and we create teams in order to keep them even. We do allow players to request to play with spouses, driving partners or friends but we cannot allow an entire team to play together. If we are not familiar with your play we will evaluate your level of play at a drop-in.
You can get added to our mailing list here. If you are on this distribution you will not miss out on any of the OHL seasons or special events like our skate at the Toyota center.
There is a once a year fee of
$36 for USA Hockey membership. Please follow the BAHHA "How
to"
sign up instructions to signup for USA hockey and what to do with your registration.
All you need to do is go to USA
Hockey
and sign up and forward your registration to the BAHHA
Registrar register@bahha.org and to lanny@spacecityice.com.
Payments can either be snail-mailed or you can call or go to the rink and pay
by check or credit. New players please snail-mail or e-mail us a registration
form. If your
e-mail address or phone has changed please let us know as well. Please
provide the rink with your USA Hockey number when you register. It will make
verification of USA Hockey registration easier if the number is provided when
you sign up.
